A server is an outfit. Everybody who plays in a Discord is in its firm from their first command — there is nothing to found, apply to or be invited into — and whoever runs the Discord can take the boss's seat, because they already hold every real power over the people in it.
0 of 2 servers have chosen one. A trade is what a server is for: it decides what that server can make, and — more to the point — what it cannot, which is what gives it somebody to phone.
Everything the city uses comes off a boat, and every boat is yours.
Cannot refine anything it lands — the Docks move volume and cut nothing.

Scrap in one door, something with a serial number filed off out the other.
Cannot land or buy in bulk — a foundry with nothing to melt is a shed.

A pharmacy licence, a bathtub, and a very good understanding of yield.
Cannot sell what it makes at any price worth having — chemists have no room.
nobody yet
Rooms full of people spending money they should not have on things they should not want.
Cannot make a single thing it sells.
nobody yet
A building where money goes in dirty and comes out with a receipt.
Cannot touch a physical good — the Bank moves numbers, not crates.
nobody yet
Knows what everything is worth and exactly who is looking for it.
Cannot make anything in the middle — a fence handles raw goods and finished ones, never the work between.
